My next All is Leaf project is to make a long form piece about death and dying. It’s important to me to present death not as tragedy (of course I understand that the circumstances often are, and have experienced this myself) but as an essential part of our existence.

An element of the complex process of being someone. I read different texts some scientific and some spiritual. I read some personal descriptions of loss by people. I gradually put together texts and then tried to weave them into a sung choral piece. 

I see this section as one part from 9 part piece. It was commissioned by the Irish Hospice Foundation.
